  • In January 2023, the growth team came to the realization that there was nowhere to merchandise new products
    and news about Hover.
  • The previous version of this design had a 90% bounce rate. I used a restaurant menu analogy to explain why this might be.
  • My analogy compares the previous menu to a menu from Guy’s American Grill, which describes every ingredient as having “donkey sauce” and provides verbose explanations.
  • This is in contrast to a fine dining restaurant where the menu is clearer, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves and utilizing space more economically.
